One of our main goals at Donalda School this year is to help our students understand academic vocabulary. What we mean by that is words that students will need to understand their assignments at school, but that they might not use regularly in their everyday speech.

Research tells us that when students understand academic vocabulary they develop their skills more strongly in every subject.
